In May 2010, my wife Anne sadly passed away after a brave four year battle against a brain tumour. During the last few weeks of Anne's life, the Rowans Hospice in Waterlooville provided great care and support to Anne and myself.

Arthur Needham and I will therefore attempt (!) to cycle from Land's End to John O'Groats between 7th and 24th July, a distance of over 1000 miles. We would like to raise at least £500 for the Rowans Hospice, in recognition of the tremendous work that they do.
