Participants: I am running with Alfie, Rana and Freddie to raise money for the amazing children’s ward that my baby brother visits often due to his metabolic disorder OTC. The nurses and doctors there are very nice!
Run, walk or skip a 10k, 5k or 2.5k route with a colourful twist around Ridlins End Stadium and Playing Fields to raise funds for your local hospitals.

Story

Finley : Arthur has been very poorly since he was 4 days old. He goes to stay at Great Ormond Street Hospital where Arthur has a nice room with a TV & toys I can play with. The doctors and nurses are very nice and I share my freddos with them.

I also visit him at Lister hospital where Daddy buys me a Pokémon magazine and we go Pokémon hunting. It would be nice for Arthur and all the other poorly children on the Bluebell ward at Lister to have a nice space to play and sit with their mummies and daddies. I’d like to get special treats for the doctors and nurses too, to say thank you for looking after my baby brother.

Rana and Freddie: Finley and Arthur are our very special friends. We love playing with Finley and hope that we can raise some money by doing the Rainbow Run so that the Bluebell ward can buy some nice books and toys for Finley to play with when he visits Arthur, and for Arthur and all the little children to play with when they have to stay in hospital. The doctors and nurses are so clever looking after Arthur but we want to make sure Arthur gets to play too as play really is a magic medicine!

Alfie: I’m running with my bestie Finley in the Rainbow run to help him and his brother Arthur. Finley talks about how much the Lister hospital has helped his brother and mummy and daddy.  I also want to say thank you to the Lister hospital as that is where the lovely doctors and nurses helped deliver me and my little sister Ava.
