Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
Following the success of #RunTheNetwork last year, the Scotland Network want to do something similar, but with a bit of a twist to help support Alzheimer's Research UK (ARUK). This year we are raising the awareness of vascular health in dementia by running the total distance of the capillaries in the human brain!
The Scotland Network's ‘Run The Brain’ challenge will take place the week of Monday 23rd to Sunday 28th May with an aim to walk/run/cycle/swim a cumulative ~400 miles to raise £2000 for ARUK. The ARUK Scotland Network is a group of research scientists based at Scottish Universities who are dedicated in finding a cure for Alzheimer's disease and dementia (https://www.alzheimersresearchuk.org/research/for-researchers/network-centres/scotland-network-centre/).
