The last time you heard from me I was jumping out of a plane at 15,000 feet and now I'm going to attempt a 5km walk (yes 5 km!!). "Oooooh, golly gosh!" I hear you exclaim.."Is there no limit to this mans exploits?!?"

SEWA , is holding a nightwalk in Kenton on Saturday, 13 September, to raise money for two blind associations - and I'm taking part. SEWA hopes to attract over 1,000 participants for the event to raise money for the Middlesex Association for the Blind and the Mamta Welfare Trust (UK) - who provide funds to a special needs school for blind children in .

The nightwalk is scheduled to kick off at 6.00 pm from St Gregory's RC School on Donnington Rd, Kenton, and will follow a 5 km route finishing back at the school.

If you want to take part yourself....registration details and forms are available at local stores and on SEWA’s website: www.sewavolunteers.org/walk. Those interested in taking part can also email SEWA at info@sewavolunteers.org. Participants will be provided with a t-shirt and en-route refreshments for a £5 registration fee. Apart from the registration fee and direct donations by individuals, SEWA is hoping that participants will raise further funds through sponsorship.
