Yemen Emergency Appeal 2020

Yemen Emergency Appeal 2020 · 20 June 2020
Assalamu Alaykum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuh,
I pray you are well and in the best of Health and Imaan,
Yemen is the largest humanitarian crisis in the world with more than 24 million people (about 80% of the population) in need of humanitarian assistance. At least 12 million are children.
Since the conflict escalated in March 2015, the country has become a living hell for the country’s children. They need our help desperately, and they need it today!!!
Our beloved Prophet Sallallahu'Alayhi Wasallam, would love to only pray in the Rukn Yamani (The Yemeni Corner) of the Ka'bah which faces Yemen directly. He Sallallahu'Alayhi Wasallam praised how the people of Yemen were soft gentle people. He Sallallahu'Alayhi Wasallam pointed in the direction of Yemen and stated how they are people of true Imaan, they have been blessed with wisdom and deep understanding of religion.
By the will of Allah (SWT) As-Sabiqoon aim to raise a minimum of £10,000 with your duas and support for the beloved people of Yemen.
If just needs 200 people to donate £50 each and we would reach our minimum target. I would like to give you all an opportunity to earn immense rewards and satisfaction of helping our brothers and sisters.
The work will be carried out by Ummah Welfare Trust, a reputable and established charity helping the poor and destitute since 2001. They operate on a 100% Donations Policy. Rest assured your Amanah will be fulfilled.
Just some ALARMING statistics for you... let them sink in:
- One child dies every ten minutes in Yemen
- Nearly 60% of the population are food insecure
- Water sources are contaminated, sanitisation systems are failing and only half the health facilities are fully functional.
- More than 190 organisations are providing life-saving assistance to 7 million people each month.
- More than 3 million people have been displaced while millions of innocent civilians are trapped.
I’ve tried my best to articulate the situation and circumstances in Yemen through my own RESEARCH. Whilst writing this script 5 children may have just died so let that sink
in....
We all need to do our part to help our brothers and sisters. We all HOLD sustenance that we can relieve to help this worthy cause.
The Qur'an clearly states the rewards of giving to charity “Indeed, the men who practice charity and the women who practice charity and [they who] have loaned Allah a goodly loan – it will be multiplied for them, and they will have a noble reward.” [Al-Hadeed:18]
Help us to make a difference to their lives, Insha'Allah.
Please state your intention of your donation in the comments section.
May Allah reward you all immensely.
Jazakum Allahu Khairan
