Yemen Emergency Appeal · 7 July 2020

Ummah Welfare Trust was founded in 2001 with the goal of challenging the huge poverty and injustice prevalent in the Ummah today. Inspired by the Islamic teachings of empathy and selflessness, the charity strives to support and uplift the impoverished through the beautiful act of charity.

Story

Yemen is the largest humanitarian crisis in the world, with more than 24 million people – some 80 per cent of the population – in need of humanitarian assistance, including more than 12 million children.
Since the conflict escalated in March 2015, the country has become a living hell for the country’s children.

They need our help desperately, and they need it today!!!

Our beloved Prophet Sallallahu'Alayhi Wasallam, would love to only pray in the Rukn Yamani (The Yemeni Corner) of the Ka'bah
which faces Yemen directly. He Sallallahu'Alayhi Wasallam praised how the people of Yemen were soft gentle people. He Sallallahu'Alayhi Wasallam pointed in the direction of Yemen and stated how they are people of true Imaan, they have been blessed with wisdom and deep understanding of religion.
