Hey Yall! Im a current Senior studying Finance and Rhetoric and Writing. After my time at the 40 Acres I hope to enter the world and work in the Healthcare industry, blending my love of Science and my degree in Business to make American Healthcare safer and patient focused.

On campus you can find me practicing for upcoming competitions as a part of Texas Raas and working with non-profits as a part of Texas 180 Degrees.

Outside of UT you can catch me ordering a cortado at Coffee Shops around Austin and talking about how much I loved Fricano's. Recently I've really been enjoying rock climbing and learning the ins and outs of film photography on my handy Olympus XA2.

Why I Ride:

Cancer is the leading cause of death worldwide. Billions are spent every year gathering data, advancing research, and aiming for a breakthrough. Yet after all this so much is still unknown or misunderstood. In Spring of 2018 a friend from high school was diagnosed with Leukemia. All the years of information I had read on cancer couldn’t have prepared me for that moment. As months passed his health slowly got better and our conversations got longer. We’d talk for hours and he’d tell me the realities of cancer that often got overlooked. The thousands of dollars of treatment bills that sat on his dining table at home. The feeling of waking up one morning and not having his phone recognize who he was from all the weight and hair loss. That more than anything he just wanted to have someone to talk to. Someone who would research stocks with him. Someone who he could argue with about what Country was better, Paris or Italy. Someone who would treat him like any other person. As friends, family, and supporters it’s so easy to get caught up thinking about different ways we can help that we often forget to ask patients what they want. That is why I ride.
