Asda Meat and Produce Coast to Coast Bike Ride 2011 · 22 June 2011

Everyman is an appeal run by The Institute of Cancer Research (ICR). Every year some 10,000 men lose their lives to prostate cancer and over 2,000 others have their world turned upside down by a diagnosis of testicular cancer. These men are the reason we are fundraising for male specific cancers.

Story

15 ASDA colleagues and suppliers from the meat and produce department will be undertaking a 145 mile cycle over two days. The route includes 10,000 feet of ascent on roads and tracks.

We start day one at the Irish Sea and finishes the second day at the North Sea, from Whitehaven to Newcastle. The event takes place on 22nd and 23rd June 2011, and all money raised will be for Everyman, the male prostate and testicular cancer charity.

Your generosity is very much appreciated.
