Movember 2012 · 1 November 2012

Everyman is an appeal run by The Institute of Cancer Research (ICR). Every year some 10,000 men lose their lives to prostate cancer and over 2,000 others have their world turned upside down by a diagnosis of testicular cancer. These men are the reason we are fundraising for male specific cancers.

Story

During November each year, Movember is responsible for the sprouting of moustaches on thousands of men’s faces in the UK and around the world. The aim of which is to raise money and awareness for men’s health, specifically prostate cancer and other cancers that affect men. On Movember 1st, guys start with a clean-shaven face and then for the rest of the month, these selfless and generous men, known as Mo Bros, groom, trim and wax their way into the annals of fine moustachery.

Last year a small group of fine men from the trading arena in Asda joined this crusade and raised over £18,000 for the Everyman charity, this year we want to beat this and hit £25,000. Help us achieve our target and give generously, thank you..
