Ashbrook's Abseiling for Alzheimers

Ashbrook Court is raising money for Alzheimer's Society

Abseiling for Alzheimers · 26 September 2020

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

At Ashbrook Court Care Home, we are passionate about supporting our treasured residents who live with Alzheimer's and dementia to live happy and fulfilling lives.

Team members Janyce, Silvia, and Eileen faced their fears and abseiled down the Olympic Parks' ArcelorMittal Orbit - London's tallest sculpture at 80m! - on Saturday 3rd October 2020, all for a worthy cause!  You can show your support by making a donation, any amount you can spare is gratefully appreciated. They were joined at the event by Josh Burrows, the grandson of resident Betty Foulger.

Your gift will help the charity to challenge perceptions, fund research, and improve care and support. Together, we are united against dementia.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
