Story

Please help us raise money for Sasbah, a charity that provides help, information and support to people and families in Sussex who are affected by spina bifida and hydrocephalus.

Sasbah's mission is to help people live their lives to the full. They do this by providing social and personal support programmes, training and tailored activities. This help and support increases confidence, self-reliance and social inclusion.

Please help Sasbah continue in their mission and help more people affected by spina bifida and hydrocephalus.

So please dig deep and donate now! Read on and you will find out about our own personal reasons for doing this but ultimately we all want to help Sasbah in continuing to provide a great service to those who have Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus.

Jayesh :-

"Back in 2005, at 18.5 stone, I couldn't run 100 metres! The thought of running a marathon was inconceivable and yet that is exactly what I'm going to attempt come 14th April 2013. 26.2 miles of sweat and pain - driving me through though, will be the thought of all the good work the money I raise will go towards."

Kris:

"I have wanted to run a marathon in a long time, having completed the Bristol and Hastings half marathons previously. If I can complete the distance under four and three quarter hours, I will be ecstatic!!"

Mark :

"I ran the London Marathon in 2012 and vowed never again! Very tough but very pleased I did it and I think the pride at having completed it is pushing me to try Brighton! Finding the time to train is tough but looking forward to the day."

Lee :-

"In regards to the training I know everyone's motivated and giving it their best. Its just down to us to get fit and ready now!"
