I am taking part in a gruelling 8 week training programme to get me ready for an amateur boxing fight against an, as yet, unknown opponent. 

The fight takes places on 16th December at the Kent County Show ground in front of 1,000 people. This day happens to be my birthday, what a great way to celebrate!! 

I'm doing this as a personal physical challenge and of course to raise money for a very serious cause, Cancer Research UK. I don't think I need to go into detail about why Cancer research is so important but if you want to read more please visit their website www.cancerresearchuk.org
