I received a bungee jump as a gift for my 30th birthday and decided it would be good opportunity to raise money for charity. As most people are aware, Haiti is a country whose people have endured an unbelievable amount of suffering, and continue to do so. My daughter is mixed race and part of her heritage is Haitian, so this matter is close to my heart.

The UHUK focus on using funds to help Haitian children have access to an education. A gift that we really do take for granted in this country. I chose a smaller charity ran by people of Haitian descent. I felt whatever money I raised would be more likely to reach the people of Haiti.

My jump is on Saturday so I have left it really late to set up this page, but people can continue to donate after the event, for at least 1 month,

So please give generously if you can afford to do so. Even £1 or £2 would help.
