Story
Hi lovely people,
This year, ESPC has teamed up with Maggie’s based in Edinburgh – an amazing charity that provides a unique programme of free practical and emotional support for people living with cancer and their family and friends.
Built in the grounds of specialists NHS cancer hospitals, Maggie's Centres are designed to create a calm, uplifting and welcoming environment, with qualified professionals on hand to offer a programme of support that has been shown to improve physical and emotional well-being... a charity that is very close to our hearts here at ESPC. It costs approximately £2,400 per DAY to run Maggie's and we want to be able to help out as much as we possibly can.
So, we thought we would kick off our fund raising for Maggie's with a BANG (or a jump!)
On 3rd September, I will be throwing myself out a plane at 10,000ft to raise as much as I can for this incredible charity.
The nerves are building (my colleagues aren't helping by sending skydiving clips from YouTube, thanks guys!) Any donations to support Maggie’s would really mean the world... even if it's just £1, every penny helps.
If you and your friends or family would like to get involved in raising funds - you can register to take part in the awesome Maggie's Culture Crawl, which promises to be an evening full of fun, food and culture. We would love to see you there!
Thanks so so much for the amazing support and kindness,
Lots of love,
Ash and all the team here at ESPC x
