We all have mental health just as we have physical health, with 1 in 3 of us experiencing a current mental health difficulty. But all too often mental health is seen as less Important and can carry a stigma around it - which stops people accessing support.
Did you know that suicide is actually the biggest killer of young men?
That’s why I’m choosing to run the Isle of Wight marathon on October 6th for Havant and East Hants Mind. They are an amazing charity who deliver vital services such as specialist support for adults wellbeing, children and young peoples wellbeing, family support services, advocacy, training and community development.
Join me in supporting them either through donating towards me running the Isle of Wight marathon for them, or perhaps volunteering for the charity or where you can just having more open and honest conversations around mental health which breaks the stigma and allows others to seek support.
