Dad was diagnosed with Cardiac Myopathy a few years ago.  Mum, Ann, had rheumatic fever as a teenager which had an effect on her heart. Jordan and Alexander (2 of John and Ann's grandsons) were born with heart defects.  These all mean that the charity was very close to Dad's heart (pun intended)!
