I have been blessed with the opportunity to run the Virgin London Marathon through my local Running Club the Orpington Road Runners. Since I am training to run the race my friend Pat asked me if I would be willing to raise money for Sarcoma Cancer which is a Cancer that she is currently battling. Knowing Pat gives me courage to endure the difficult challenges of the Marathon and knowing that my running encourages Pat onward in her battle makes this a unique and special opportunity.
