Hogweed Trotters Half Marathon · 14 March 2010
Just over five years ago, my grandfather died after a long struggle with Alzheimer's Disease. His brother and mother were also victims of the merciless condition. In December I won an annual essay writing competition at Westonbirt School for my account of my Grandfather's struggle. I have since pledged to help BRACE to raise funds and shall therefore be completing the Hogweed Trotters Half Hilly Half Marathon on Sunday March 14th 2010.Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. If you would like to read my essay, if you copy and paste the following web address into your browser, it will lead you to a link to the essay: http://www.alzheimers-brace.org/BRACE_Ne
I've ran the Hogweed Half Marathon and I also did the Bristol Half Marathon on 5th September. It was absolutely fantastic! Fantastic atmosphere, crowd, and a lovely course! Really surprised myself with my time as well - managed 1hour 50 minutes, 46 seconds! I will be doing more half marathons over the next year so please keep the donations coming in! Every little really does help!
