Story
We are running the Great North Run in Sept 2016 to raise money in memory of Harriet Stockley, the daughter of our lovely friends Rachel and Richard http://harrietstockley.com
Harriet was born asleep, despite a seemingly perfect pregnancy and being 5 days overdue. Every day, 17 families in the UK experience the same devastating outcome and have their world’s turned upside down.
The Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital is doing some amazing work to try to prevent such outcomes and to help families that have experienced such terrible circumstances with future pregnancies. Your donation will go directly to the RMCH to fund such research and activities. The 'Rainbow Clinic' is doing amazing stuff.
Please give anything you are able to - every single pound will help to inspire us to train harder in memory of Harriet, and to help all those families. Raising awareness and talking about stillbirth is crucial - this article is worth a read: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-36855840
