I am fundraising for the Sivan Arul Foundation who help disadvantaged Sri Lankan women and children establish sustainable livelihoods through education, job and business opportunities.

I will be running my first ever (and likely last!) marathon in Pisa this December, and would like to use this opportunity to support all of the amazing work the Sivan Arul Foundation do in supporting people in their time of need.

The initial purpose of the foundation was to provide support and rehabilitation for Sri Lankans affected by the tsunami in 2004 and the civil war between 1983 and 2009. However, the devastation and destruction caused is still very much present today and the foundation continue to support those who are suffering through considerable hardships (such as the 2019 floods and Covid).

Any donations are hugely appreciated and will go a long way to improve the lives of vulnerable and underprivileged Sri Lankans.
