Assalamu Alaikum,
Alhumdulillah, with the grace of Allah (SWT), Allah (SWT) has enlightened me and given me this beautiful opportunity to finally follow through my passion.
For a very long time I have had a desire to build a Masjid and a possible Madrasah for the poor with my closest allies. May Allah (SWT) give my friend Kamal the highest of jannah for guiding us with this project and may Allah (SWT) accept all involved, our intentions.
In the past, I have donated for my friends and family clean heartedly for their charity work through this website and questioned myself whether the money people are giving, how is this being utilised? This time, I want to be in a charity where I am involved in personally and personally see where the charity money is being used.
This will be a massive project which I am highly excited about and would like my closest family and friends to share this amazing journey with me and take part in making a difference for the needy ones.
May Allah (SWT) guide myself and my fellow participants with our vision and to give us the chance to visit and see the Masjid being built and progress in Gambia.
Please donate generously, and we pray that every penny will be a Sadaqah Jariyah for you and your family. Every time someone gives the Adhaan, Iqaamah, 5 daily prayers, Jummah, Eid and Janaazah prayers, you will be rewarded and so will anybody else on whose behalf you donate.
“And those who believe and whose offspring follow them in Faith, to them shall We join their offspring, and We shall not decrease the reward of their deeds in anything. Every person is a pledge for that which he has earned.” [Surah At-Tur: 21]
Uthman ibn Affan reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Whoever builds a mosque for Allah, Allah will build for him a house like it in Paradise.”
[Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī 439, Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 533]
Ibn Umar reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “The most beloved people to Allah are those who are most beneficial to people. The most beloved deed to Allah is to make a Muslim happy, or to remove one of his troubles, or to forgive his debt, or to feed his hunger.” [Al-Muʻjam al-Awsaṭ 6192]
Please help us to help this community in Gambia. Currently people are praying in make-shift masjid made from sticks. We want to give them a safe, clean place where the young and the old can worship Allah in comfort. May Allah accept it from you and your family. Jazakallah
