Story

We're so proud to join this important event, as we have many clients who are affected by Alzheimer’s, and their family members are affected too.

With every pound you donate, you are helping Alzheimer’s Research  get one step closer to a world without dementia. Your fundraising will help fund new research and provide support to more people affected by dementia, wherever they are, whatever they are going through.

Alzheimer’s disease is the most common type of dementia in the UK. It can affect memory and other mental abilities and can cause significant stress. In the UK, there are currently 850,000 people suffering with Alzheimer’s and this number is due to rise to 1 million by 2025. The Alzheimer’s Society suggest that currently, 1 in 6 people over the age of 80 have dementia.

With every pound you donate, you are helping Alzheimer’s Research  get one step closer to a world without dementia. Your fundraising will help fund new research and provide support to more people affected by dementia, wherever they are, whatever they are going through.

We want to show that Ashridge Home Care have an understanding of what it’s like living with Alzheimer’s and show support for individuals and their families, friends and all our wonderful carers supporting them.

Thank you to everyone who signed up for the Memory Walk in aid of Alzheimer’s Society. It's a brilliant way to make a real difference for people affected by dementia.
