Story

On May 29th I have entered my first 100KM/62 mile Ultra Run for Charity. The event South Downs 100K Ultra is with UK Ultra.
The 100K route starts in the medieval town of Arundel, in the shadows of Arundel Castle, before finishing over the historic white cliffs of Beachy Head in Eastbourne, it has approximately 8000ft elevation gain, starts at 5am and finishes at 10pm needing to be completed within the 17 hour cut-off. The furthest I have run in one go to date is 48KM so safe to say this will be a challenge. Lots of training and work to be done!

In a photo is myself with my cousin Keeleigh who as a 5 year old in April 2016 had Wilms Tumours cancer affecting her kidneys. A 14 hour operation, months of intense treatment from the NHS along with care and support from childrens charity, Keeleigh was thankful to ring the bell at the end of her treatment in June 2017.

I have choosen to run this 100KM Ultra for Children with Cancer UK.
I would like to contribute to fund raising for this charity to give children with cancer and their families across the UK support with treatment and care they deserve during their difficult and heart breaking time, to give more children a fighting chance to Ring that bell at the end of their treatment.

If you are in a position and able to spare a few pounds towards sponsoring me on this run towards treatment, research, support and care from which Children with Cancer UK can provide with our help, that would be amazing!
If you can share this page with your family and friends it would be very much appreciated.

Thank you for your time to read this, here is some information about Children with cancer UK and what your donation will contribute towards along with some photos of Keeleigh whilst going through her cancer treatment.
