Dementia UK Royal Parks Half Marathon

Royal Parks Half Marathon 2024 · 13 October 2024 ·
I'm taking on the Royal Parks Half Marathon on behalf of Dementia UK for my Granny and Grandpa.
Your support would mean so much to me.
In the last five years I've lost two grandparents to Dementia, a truly heartbreaking syndrome.
In 2019, I lost by Grandpa Bill. He was a popular and talented hairdresser and artist styling the hairdos and art hung up on walls across Sheffield.
Soon after, I lost by Granny Audrey. A former Liver Bird from Liverpool with a cheeky and whicked sense of humour. But most importantly a loving, supportive, and caring head of the Kirby family.
Unfortunately, Dementia can see the things you love about a person slip away. It can also take a massive toll on loved ones and friends.
Dementia UK's nurses work hard to support the whole family deal with the impact of this Brian disorder.
I'd love to recognise their work and support them by raising money for this vital cause.
Thank you in advance for supporting my huge challenge and donating whatever you can, it will make a massive difference.
