The National Amyloidosis Centre in London have been caring for our daughter Holly for the past 7 years; the injection she receives every 2 months allows her to live a 'normal' life by controlling her symptoms from CAPS/CINCA and we felt we would like to give back to them. Also, We cannot thank enough, The NHS, The Royal Free, The NAC, Alder Hey, Manchester Cochlear Centre and all the medical professionals and ancillary staff we have met over the years, who have made the journey that little bit easier to bear. 

What is Amyloidosis? - It's the name for a group of rare, serious conditions caused by a build up of an abnormal protein called amyloid in organs and tissues throughout the body. The build up (deposits) can make it difficult for the organs and tissues to work properly and without treatment, this can lead to organ failure. Increased awareness of the condition, which may affect you or someone you know in the future, means more sufferers are being diagnosed and cured.
