International Needs is a Christian partnership that helps people around the world, whatever their belief system, as they struggle against disaster, disease, persecution and poverty.
We partner with local people already working close to the affected areas, which means that we can get the right kind of aid directly to the neediest people fast.
We have already been able to help thousands of people in India, Indonesia and Sri Lanka, some in areas that the larger agencies have not yet reached.
We are also able to be flexible and respond immediately to any shortages. In one area of Sri Lanka food is plentiful but there is nothing to cook with. Our funds were immediately used to purchase cooking utensils.
We are efficient. Partnering with local people means that overheads are kept to a minimum. Money sent also goes directly into the local economy so aiding recovery.
