I am fundraising for The Connection at St Martin's. The Connection is a day and night centre based in Trafalgar Square, which supports thousands of people every year in moving away from, and staying off the streets. This year The Connection have been working around the clock to support people in exceptionally difficult circumstances. During the first lockdown they helped hundreds of people off the streets and into emergency hotel accommodation, where they continued to support them throughout their stay. In Westminster, over 260 people were helped into more permanent accommodation after the hotels. Now The Connection are supporting people rough sleeping with immediate practical relief from their reopened day centre, as well as providing remote advice and support to help people recently accommodated, outreach services, and a newly opened hotel accommodation block. This Christmas help me support people rough sleeping by donating to The Connection.
