The team will be raising money for the The Alan Senitt Community Leadership Programme which is managed and facilitated by Streetwise.

This programme is a community schools linking leadership programme for Year 10 pupils of different faiths. The project allows the participants to learn about each other, their different cultures, religions and communities and at the same time reflect on themselves and gain leadership skills that will benefit their local community and serve them throughout their lives.

The aims of the programme are for participants to:

* Meet & work with young people of other faiths

* Learn Leadership skills

* Understand the roles and skills required to run a community project

* Gain valuable work experience

The programme currently has 8 participating schools and costs £14,000 per year to run. All money raised by the run will go towards the overall cost of running the community programme.
