Story

On the 25th May 2009, I'm running in the BUPA 10,000 race round London to raise money for Fibromyalgia Association UK.  If you don't know what fibromyalgia is, google it!  Or go here http://www.fibromyalgia-associationuk.org/content/view/223/1/

For those of you who don't know, I suffer from fibromyalgia so running this race is a huge personal victory.  Less than a year ago I couldn't get out of bed, let alone run anywhere for anything.  The money I raise will help people like me who most medical people don't know what to do with and hopefully show people with fibromyalgia that you can live a good life despite a silly, destructive and pernicious disease.

An added bonus of training, I confess, is the chance to run through the streets of Cambridge wearing a bandana with small children following me (see Rocky II clip)...

Apparently, "donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Fibromyalgia Association UK gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation."

So it'd be absolutely awesome if you could donate any money as sponsorship for this race.  Cheers for any and all support   :)
