Story

Assalamu Aleykum everyone,

In honour of Ramadan and in the name of my dad who recentely passed away (Inna Lillah wa Inna Ilayhi Raji'un), I'm partnering with Muslim Hands to help refugee families in urgent need of food fasting during this blessed month.

In 2021, 12.4 million people were recorded as food insecure in Syria - the highest ever number. Of these, 1.3 million are severely food insecure. [WFP] More than half a million children under five in Syria are stunted from chronic malnutrition. [The Tablet] 1/2 of all Afghani children will face severe malnutrition in 2022 - [UNICEF]

These statistics are just a snapshot of the situation in locations such as Syria, Yemen, Afghanistan & more. This Ramadan, we are their hope and we can make a change together insha'Allah.

We know Ramadan is an amazing opportunity to give as much as we can, knowing Allah (swt) will always reward us for it with more than we expect.

Please consider donating  🤍  This campaign means a lot to me as my dad really wanted me to accept this opportunity. I can now hopefully do this in his name 🤲🏻  Let's provide food parcels to families in need & multiply the reward of our fasts together!
