Story
Roy Aston, his brother, Ian, and son-in-law, Mike, are taking on their hardest physical challenge to date - rising with the sun to conquer a 205 mile cycle across the UK before the sun sets again.
Starting in the Thames estuary, the 200+ mile route bi-sects south London, bridging the Thames onto Wiggin’s Olympic time trial route, before seeking green country lanes, quaint villages, the lush Vale of Pewsey, climbing the Mendip hills, descending breathtaking Cheddar gorge, finally arriving on the seafront finish at Burnham-on-Sea.
It'll be a 04:41 start with a 3000m elevation, beating the sunset for a 21:33 finish... all in a day's work.
The team are cycling for our fantastic charity partner, Acorns Children's Hospice which offer a network of palliative care and support to life-limited and life-threatened children and their families across the West Midlands region
