Story

The T20 Walkathon event is immensely important.

The monies raised from this event will allow us to tackle the issues deep at heart that affect our local community on our office doorstep. The Derwent Ward is in the top 2% of most deprived areas in the country of which sees the majority of its children receiving free school meals.

We are aware during the school holidays families feel the financial burden of having to find extra money to cover the costs of those meals that they would normally receive in school.

This year we are looking to support Derbyshire Cricket Foundation's aim to raise £6,000.00 to deliver a Holiday Hunger and after school programme in the Derwent ward.

These programme's look to deliver coaching multi-sport activities whilst providing a healthy balanced meal.
