Story
Hello everyone!
I will be doing a 5 mile trek at the seven sisters cliffs to raise money for Syrian mothers and their babies. Please dig deep and donate what you can.
Baby Karam (in the picture)
Karam is now just over a month old. His mother, Lerine was given support by the Birth Clinic where she was looked after and given medical check-ups from four months to the end of her pregnancy.
Lerine’s story is typical of many Syrian refugees. Her home was bombed and her father was killed in the bombing. Lerine managed to escape to Jordan and later married. It was at a stage when she thought life would not improve that she was blessed with a baby boy.
These are some of the situations Syrian mothers have to go through. The project covers all the costs of giving birth, it pays for everything so that the mother, the family and the new-born baby can enjoy the precious moments of pregnancy and welcoming a new-born into the world. Also, if there are any complications, the medical costs to treat those are covered as well. Additionally, new clothes, nappies, milk formula etc. are also provided for the mother and baby. Without this project and support, this would cost the family thousands and cause immense stress. (And we all know on top of this they have to suffer the brutality of being driven out of their own homes)
Each delivery costs £600, that's it.
Imagine if you pay for a delivery yourself or as a family or a group of friends, you've just saved two lives, you've got the du’aa of a pregnant mother and you've got the Sadaqah Jariyah, every good deed that child grows to do will be attributed to you innShaaAllah.
£25 - provides milk formula .
£150 - provides mother and baby essentials like new clothes, nappies etc.
£600 - covers the cost of safely delivering a new born baby in a hospital.
£1,000 - contributes towards the running cost of the birth clinic for 1 month.
Please donate now generously and thank you for your generosity.
Jazak'Allah and thank you,
Athena
