I had a triple heart bypass in May 2021, the realisation that life is short, and no-one gets out alive was awakening. 

So, our team, an unfit, over-weight 58 year old, and a fit, young whippersnapper intend to prove that human endeavour is alive and well.

Our experience together will be amazing, and we want to raise as much as possible to empower the young, aspirant athletes, who may just become legends, and in turn may inspire others to achieve more.

The Ron Pickering Memorial Fund is the catalyst that enables this and they can only continue helping athletes reach their potential with our help.

The charity runs on the whiff of an oil rag, and is run entirely by volunteers.
