St David's Foundation Hospice Care - Blaenafon to Cwmcarn Bike Ride · 10 October 2010 ·

St. David's Hospice Care provides free community-based hospice care to people with cancer or any other life threatening illness living in Gwent and Mid/South Powys. Your donations help us to provide the services that give patients a real choice about where they spend their final days.

Story

As you can see from the photos a few of us on the Newport project successfully took part in a cycle ride from Blaenafon to Cwmcarn, 26 miles, for a local South Wales Hospice.

Six of the seven starters cycled over the finish line in a little under 3 hours, whilst Tim, with his broken chain, arrived an hour later having walked with his broken bike over the hill into Cwmcarn.

Thank you very much to all those who've donated so far.
