3000 miles is a long, long way.  With potential for 40 foot waves and hurricane speed winds this is not an easy challenge (not to mention the small space on board, lack of shower facilities and limited selection of culinary delights we will be taking with us)!  2 years of planning have gone in to the event and the race start date (6 December 2009) is approaching fast.
