AUCS - Charity Abseil 2020 · 29 February 2020

Mental Health Aberdeen is a local mental health charity dedicated to delivering services and promoting mental wellbeing to people affected by challenges related to mental health within the North East of Scotland. We strive to raise public awareness and understanding of mental health issues.

Story

On the 29th of February 2020, 12 members of the Aberdeen University Cheerleading Squad will take part in an abseil fundraiser which will take place in Cove. This event will fundraise for Mental Health Aberdeen and aid the development of our sports team.

Mental Health Aberdeen is a local charity which helps adults and young people suffering with mental health problems. As a team we are very passionate about mental health and we know how important it is to support young people as well as old who are experiencing difficulty relating to their mental health.

We hope this abseil will raise money so this charity can continue their extremely worthwhile work in and around the Aberdeen community.

Members taking part in the abseil: Daniela Muollo, Lisa Picatto, Clair Stirton, Georgia McHardy, Godlin Mathew, Jennifer Krog, Kendall Smith, Kirsty McCrorie, Lara Dasar, Lara Mertes, Mairi Buchanan, Morbheinn Nicol
