Roger Williams Park needs trees! Our trees are aging so we need to bring in some young trees to keep the Park beautiful for generations to come. For each $5,000 raised we can grow and plant one new grove of 20 or more young trees.

Story

The natural beauty of Roger Williams Park has made it an "essential place" for Rhode Islanders for almost 150-years. During COVID19, the Park as been more essential than ever, with tens of thousands of families coming to the Park to safely be together in the shade of stately trees with lakes and ponds glimmering in the background. Now, the Park's trees need our help. This year's drought and years of disease hurt young and old trees alike. The Park is at risk of losing trees that mean so much to so many. Imagine instead families of tomorrow gathering under the boughs of trees that we plant today. Imagine the cool shade they will enjoy in summer, or the fragrant blossoms of spring, in new places all around the Park. That is why we are raising $5,000 to plant a grove of twenty new trees in Roger Williams Park. For every $5,000 we can create beautiful new places of peace and joy for everyone to enjoy for generations to come.
