The PKD Charity supports children, adults and families affected by all forms of Polycystic Kidney Disease.  PKD is a life-threatening inherited condition that can cause kidney failure and affect other organs in the body. There are about 70,000 of us in the UK, though it isn't a condition many people know about and this autumn, the charity is running an awareness campaign, "Walking Together to Give PKD the Bump". 

I decided to be part of the campaign and thought I would try and raise some money along the way for the PKD Charity which does such a lot to support those of us with the disease and our families.  My goal is to walk 350,000 steps in October.
