It’s unacceptable that more than half of people diagnosed with the deadliest common cancer die within three months. That’s why they need and deserve more. More research, more funding, more breakthroughs. More than hope. Together we’ll make that possible.

Story

I wanted to set myself a challenge for my 80th birthday, something my family will remember me for. I am terrified of heights so this is something so far out of my comfort zone, but I wanted to do something amazing, in memory of my husband John who sadly passed away in September 2007.   This is for him.

My son Mark and my granddaughter Tara are also doing the zip line with me. (I think I am going to need them!)

Pancreatic cancer is a tough one but we’re taking it on. It is tough to
diagnose, tough to treat, tough to research and tough to survive. For too
long this disease has been sidelined. We want to make sure that
everyone affected by it gets all the help they need. We are supporting
those affected by the disease, investing in ground breaking research,
lobbying for greater recognition of pancreatic cancer and being a voice
for everyone involved in the fight. Together we are taking on pancreatic
 cancer.
