Story
In the weeks before my father died he received heart surgery at Bristol's Royal Infirmary, a short skip in an ambulance from the Bath's RUH.
They may not have been able to save his life, but at the dawn of the pandemic everyone from the paramedics to the surgeons were committed over and above their pay grade. I feel I owe them a debt of gratitude on behalf of my family, not just for the now, but for the forever. So let's hope my 17k feet fall won't be another drain on their resources.
You’re about to do a great thing! Thank you for sharing my passion to support them and go the extra mile for our NHS.
