I'm doing this because my wife, Eva, was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. I'd like to support her and others facing cancer. The treatments will take 5 years or more and one of the side effects is hair loss.

At the time when we found out, I knew very little about cancer and I had no idea that more than 1 in 3 people will be diagnosed in their lifetime. So for me, it's as much about raising awareness and confronting the social challenges as it is about raising funds for better prevention, care and treatments.

There are lots of other great charities and ways to show support so don't feel obliged to donate here if you would prefer to help in another way.
