The Christie charity provides enhanced services over and above what the NHS funds. Your support can help us to fund life-changing and potentially life-saving projects that will benefit cancer patients both now and in the future.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Cancer was always something that affected other people, and other peoples families and although I was aware of the severity of this, thankfully, it had never really impacted on me personally, that is until last year :- 2011

Binnie Donaldson (Mum) I love you so much and we are all here for you.

Mrs Phil Lester (Friend) - We hope and pray for your full recovery

Nigel Brown (Colleague) - So far so good, hope the treatment continues to be successful.

Marg Owens (Charice's other Grandma) - fully recovered.

Robert Donaldson(Grandpa) - May you rest in peace

Aunt Jennifer(Aunt) - May you rest in peace

Anne Coldecott - May you rest in peace.

Jean Morgan (Family) - May you rest in peace.

(Colleague) Harry's Mum  - May you rest in peace

Bernie McEvoy (Friends Mother) -  May you rest in peace

Mrs Lyons (Matts Mum) - May you rest in peace

So I wish to raise as much money as possible for this fantastic cause, to push my body and my mind to the absolute limit with this mamoth endurance test, just  competing is something I really would have never considered, so this is also a huge test for myself.

This is therefore dedicated to the above persons and their respective families, you must remember it is just as difficult on the family as well as the patient, to accept, deal with, and offer emotional support.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. So please dig deep and donate now.

Thanks in advance,

Austin.
