Ava's Gramps Marathon page

The Gramps Marathon · 1 December 2020
At the beginning of the Coivd lockdown my amazing Gramps was diagnosed with a brain tumour. Sadly, it cannot be cured. He has been sooooooo brave and has not complained once about this horrible tumour.
I want to do something to raise money for The Brain Tumour Charity so that maybe in the future other Grampses and their families might not need to experience brain tumours.
I am going to run a marathon (26.2 miles!) over December. It will be hard work and sometimes I might want to stop running but I won't (unless I need to do some homework) because my Gramps has kept going even though it has been very hard.
The Brain Tumour Charity is the world's leading brain tumour charity and the largest dedicated funder of research into brain tumours globally. Committed to saving and improving lives, were moving further, faster to help every single person affected by a brain tumour. We're set on finding new treatments, offering the highest level of support and driving urgent change.
