Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My name is Tracy Chapman. My little girl, Ava, was born at 25 weeks gestation, on the 10th of January 2018. She was born with countless severe medical conditions. However, she left hospital at 10 months old and was able to see her own home for the first time. From that point on, she proved every single doctor wrong and fought as hard as her little body would let her. Unfortunately in June 2020, her chest infections got the better of her and she began getting sick again. At 10:47pm on June 22nd 2020, baby Ava passed away in her mummy's arms. Robin House Hospice (part of CHAS) helped us even before she passed, supporting every member of her family to prepare for this event. There were 2 certain staff members who specifically took Ava's case. Jonathan and Lindsey came to visit Ava once a week before she passed. They both came the day of Ava's passing to say goodbye and give us amazing advice on how to cope. Since then, they still keep in contact with us and have invited us to the hospice to have a remembrance day for baby Ava. We can't thank them enough and due to their hospice surviving off of donations from the public, this is the least we can do for them. Ava touched the hearts of so many individuals. She will be loved and her memory will be treasured forever.

We love you beautiful girl🎀✨
