On Sunday 17 May, we invite you to complete a 5k walk - in your own time, and in a location of your choice - to help us raise funds and vital awareness for SANDS.

On 19 January 2020, I delivered our son who was taken from us before he had the chance to take his first breath. SANDS were kind enough to provide us with memory boxes as we left the hospital, which still gives us comfort when we miss Aveer.

In memory of him, and to recognise the amazing work and support that SANDS have given us and so many other parents, we are joining together with family, friends, and our wider communities, to complete a virtual 5k walk for FREE anywhere, and at anytime on 17th May. We want to stand together and raise awareness about baby loss, an extremely taboo subject that most people are not able to speak about.

You will receive support and guidance from us to help you complete your walk, as well as recognition of your achievement across our social media channels and connections.

Pull out your trainers, dust off your headbands, and make sure you keep a water bottle handy, as we all pull together in these unprecedented times to complete a virtual community 5k - from the comfort of our own favourite footpaths.
