Hatzola Herts is an emergency medical response service and responder network based in the local community for the local community. It is a fast and free service and is staffed by trained, equipped and professionally supported volunteers who are funded by charitable donations. The NHS Ambulance Service is overstretched, so Hatzola Herts works alongside and in partnership with the NHS ambulance service to help improve response times in the majority of serious cases by over 400%.

Story

Founded just this year, Hatzola Herts is a volunteer emergency ambulance service. Having it's responders living and working in the community Hatzola Herts offers an incredibly fast response time around the WD6 area. With the NHS stretched and limited with it's resources, the speed that Hatzola arrives on scene saves lives daily.

Hatzola relies on donations to keep it's services running. The expenses are huge, Hatzala Herts has 2 ambulances, 2 emergency response cars and top of the line communication devices for it's volunteers.

Hatzola Herts is a cause very close to my heart. My mother is a dispatcher, answering calls and dispatching the volunteer paramedics to the emergency. My father is a trained ambulance driver.

All the Hatzola volunteers are ANGELS, who give up their time to save lives. They will stop their work, a Shabbat meal and even jump out of bed at 3 am. On Sunday December 11, I will be running the Malaga Half Marathon, a 21Km long run in aid of Hatzala Herts. Please show Hatzola Herts you care and support my run.

Hatzola will always be there for you when you need, now be there for them!
