Aviva cycle to Paris · 5 April 2018

The Literacy Pirates gives young people one-to-one attention in an unconventional learning environment to support them with their literacy, confidence and perseverance. Your support is central to our programme, and ensures we can work with as many young people as possible.

Story

Luke hadn’t done any exercise for a year. Decided to do the
Paris marathon. Forgot about the invention of trains and opted to bike it there
instead. He then realised he didn’t want to make the voyage on his own, so
cobbled together a motley crew of Aviva colleagues to join him on his epic
quest.

The dream team – Luke, Anna, Pete, Phil, and Joe will cycle
from Hoxton Square to the Eiffel Tower on the 5th April.  We
could get hit by oncoming traffic, the boat may go Titanic or we might end up
in Spain. To keep you posted on our adventure, we’ll be updating this page. We
are also raising dollar for a local charity. We found one called Hackney
Pirates, who apart from having an ace name also do loads of rad stuff to help
youngsters in the borough.
