We are raising money in aid of THE CLEFT LIP AND PALATE ASSOCIATION and every little will help,

Myself and my friend Jackilene have signed up and registered with Global Adventures to take part in the Sahara Desert Trekking Challenge in March 2023.

Our chosen charity to raise funds and awareness for is the Cleft Lip & Palate Assosiation ( CLAPA )

CLAPA is a small charity supporting people born with a cleft and their families in the UK.

We chose this charity as i know first hand what wonderful work they do and how tirelessly they work to support people.

My son Cody was born in 2014 with both cleft lip and palate and the help,support & guidance we have received over the years and still do receive from CLAPA has been incredible.

We couldn't have sailed through how we did without them.

Cody has more surgery coming up soon (bone graft surgery) and is in the process of endless appointments preparing him for it, the entire cleft team (glasgow) are incredible not only with cody but with us as parents also ❤

Very worthwhile charity ♡

As part of our participation in this challenge we are required to raise a minimum sponsorship of £4000 through fundraising this year.

A year isn't a long time to fundraise that amount of money especially when covid keeps holding us back from alot of our original plans

Just Giving is our biggest hope of raising as much as we can so PLEASE if you can every little helps! Thank You ! X

80% of this will go direct to the charity and 20% to Global Adventures to cover our challenge costs.

We are also organising a fundraising night which will be held in Cowie Bowling Club on the 21st May 2022
