Robin Hood Half Marathon · 25 September 2022 ·

On Sunday 25th September 2022, Nottingham Hospitals Charity supporters will take on the Robin Hood Half and Mini Marathons, raising funds for areas within our hospitals that are close to their hearts.

Story

As a Nottingham based family business we have decided to run for the Nottingham Hospital's Charity for the support they have given and continue to give our family, and the families we serve. Any money raised will go into the general fund, so the charity can decide where the need is greatest.

Chlöe, Matthew and Alanna are running the half marathon, whilst Alanna's brother Douglas and his partner Martine are accompanying Oliver and Zara on the mini marathon.

The Robin Hood Half Marathon events are a great way to engage with other likeminded fundraisers and meet Nottingham Hospitals Charity's incredible community. In 2021, Nottingham Hospital's Charity runners raised over £27,000! We want to make this year bigger and better than ever. This is why I am joining the team or runners to raise funds for patients across Nottingham's hospitals.I have chosen to support an area of the hospital that is close to my heart : Nottingham Hospitals Charity enhances patient care across all four Nottingham University Hospitals (NUH); Queen's Medical Centre, Nottingham City Hospital, Nottingham Children's Hospital and Ropewalk House. Donations help provide added extras such as improved facilities, equipment, research & staff development. Please support this campaign and donate what you can. Every penny raised will help to enhance patient care at our local hospitals in Nottingham and go above and beyond for our local community.
